This article describes the various integration options for the simultaneous translation tool Qonda in STREAMBOXY livestreams and conferences.
Lead time to integrate Qonda
The recommended lead time for integrating Qonda with STREAMBOXY varies between one and four weeks.
The decisive factor here is whether interpreters are to be provided by Qonda or whether they are provided by the company itself.
Setting up a multilangual livestream in Qonda
- Create an account with Qonda and log in to it.
- A new event can be created under "Schedule a new event for free".
- The event planer opens.
Enter the event title, an event description and select "Livestream" for the type of event and "Multilingual player" for the type of live stream, as well as the planned number of participants.

In the next step, enter your desired event date and duration.

The language combinations, voice recording and technical support can be added under "Translations".

In the following step, the appearance of the interpreter board can be adjusted. This can also only be viewed by the interpreters.
Now complete and pay your order.
Setting up a Qonda livestream at STREAMBOXY
Once you have completed the order, Qonda will provide you with a livestream link, which can be implemented as a content page with iframe in STREAMBOY.
Make sure to start the languages you have set in Qonda at the start of the event.
Setting individual livestream audio tracks in Qonda (Pull)
- Create an account with Qonda and log in to it.
- A new event can be created under "Schedule a new event for free ".
- The event planner opens.
Enter the event title, an event description and select "Live stream" for the type of event and "Retrieve from Qonda (pull)" for the type of live stream, as well as the planned number of participants.
- In the next step, enter your desired event date and duration.
- The language combinations, voice recording and technical support can be added under "Translations".
- In the following step, the appearance of the interpreter board can be adjusted. This can also only be viewed by the interpreters.
- Now complete your order.
Integration of the Qonda livestream audio track in STREAMBOXY
Once you have completed the order, Qonda will provide you with the relevant voice output. You can find this in the actions under "Proxy Dashboard".
Under "Edit" of the respective audio track, select "External URL" for the output format.
Now add the STREAMBOXY upstream URL to the URL and click on "Start Proxy".
Setting up a multilingual conference in Qonda
- Create an account with Qonda and log in to it.
- A new event can be created under "Schedule a new event for free ".
- The event planner opens.
Enter the title of the event, an event description and select "Conference" as the type of event, as well as the planned number of participants and the language authorization.
- In the next step, enter your desired event date and duration.
- The language combinations, voice recording and technical support can be added under "Translations".
- In the following step, the appearance of the interpreter board can be adjusted. This can also only be viewed by the interpreters.
- Now complete your order.
Setting of a conference audio track at STREAMBOXY
Once you have completed the order, Qonda will provide you with the respective speech output, which can be implemented as a tool with iframe in STREAMBOXY.
However, the interpreters must be added as conference participants so that they can translate the conference.
Setting up a Qonda conference at STREAMBOXY
Once you have completed the order, Qonda can also provide you with their conference tool. This can be implemented as a content page via iframe in STREAMBOXY.
Additional settings such as the volume of the original sound and the translation language can also be adjusted there.
However, the interpreters must be added as conference participants so that they can translate the conference.
Qonda interpreters
Qualified interpreters can be booked with Qonda four weeks in advance.
These can be present on site at the event or remotely.
