What is a Livestream Session?

A Livestream is a virtual Format, wich does not allow participant Audio/Video but therefore enables several thousand participants.

As an alternative we offer a Streamboxy Conference Session, wich allows participant Audio/Video but in smaller groups.

Where and when can I find my livestream?

A livestream can be played either in the main room or in individual breakout rooms.

You cannot see the breakout room where the livestream is playing until the speaker opens the room to attendees.

If the room is already open, you cannot see the livestream until the speaker starts the livestream for attendees.

Depending on the organizers settings, a livestream recording is available after the session.

Livestream Player Operation

During a livestream, there are various functions that you can manage. The functions are shown in a bar at the bottom of the screen with icons.

Muting

During the livestream, a banner is displayed at the top of the video, which can be used to activate or deactivate the mute function.
This can be controlled either via the button on the banner ("Unmute") or via the keyboard. The banner can be hidden completely by pressing "Close message".

Break

Pressing the pause sign at the bottom left pauses the livestream for you at the desired time. By pressing the play sign, the video can be restarted when the time is stopped. Unlike a recording, the livestream jumps to the current position after pausing.
