What is an event response?

STREAMBOXY offers every event participant the opportunity to unsubscribe from the events and the associated mailings independently.

Where is the answer set?

The event response can be set in several places in STREAMBOXY.

In the Content Manager in the email (editor) template or in the editor mode in the email templates of the tenant settings "Save the date" there is a direct response option with the "Accept" or "Cancel" buttons.

In the editor mode in the email templates of the tenant settings, placeholders with the "Accept" or "Decline" buttons can also be inserted directly into any email template.

In the email templates from the Content Manager (with the exception of the OTP - One time password template), there is also the option of cancelling the event in the footer by clicking on the "Click here to unsubscribe from the event and the emails" button.

Where is the answer displayed?

From the participant's point of view, there is only a browser forwarding to a cancellation or confirmation of acceptance.

On the administration level in the backstage, the respective answer of the participants can be displayed in the event user list or in the reports. If you do not see the response in your event user list, you can add the relevant column in the column manager and move it to the desired position.

Possible answer statuses are:

• Accepted (After the event invitation has been accepted, access to the event is sent to the event user by e-mail)
• Tentative (The invitation has been set, but not yet accepted or declined)
• No response (Displayed if no invitation email was set at the time the user was created)
• Declined (The event user has declined the invitation and does not wish to participate in the event Cancellation sent by email to the event user)

After a cancellation, no more emails are sent to the respective event user (regardless of whether these were set to be time-based or action-based) and they can no longer participate in the event via their access link.

In addition to the event user list, the response of each event participant can also be viewed in the participant export and in the attendance export.
