What are STREAMBOXY roles?


People can act with different roles in STREAMBOXY and have different functions in the Stage and Backstage.

The STREAMBOXY roles in the stage are:

 

  • Participant
  • Speaker
  • Organizer

 

 

The STREAMBOXY roles in the backstage are:

 

  • Administrator/ Organizer
  • Read only access
  • Event administrator
  • Event user administrator
  • No access

Role Participant


Depending on the configuration, participants are either invited by the organizer of an event or they register themselves. In both cases, participants receive an access link with which they can enter the event directly. Further information on the session login after an e-mail invitation can be found here.


Participants can only access the stage. Only administrators and organizers have backstage access.

Participants only see those agenda items, external session tools and functions that have been activated for them in the Backstage.

Role speaker


In addition to the participant functions, speakers have further possibilities to act:

  • Move participants to breakout rooms 
  • Viewing the activity of individual participants 
  • Moderating the Q&A

Role organizer


In addition to the speaker functions, organizers have other options to act:

  •  Access to assigned events in the backstage
  • Deleting events in the backstage

Role Administrator/ Organizer


In addition to the stage functions as speakers, administrators and organizers have unrestricted access to the STREAMBOXY Backstage.

Role read only access


 The backstage role "Read only access" the role has no access to the stage, but has read access to the STREAMBOXY backstage.

Role Event administrator


In addition to the stage functions as presenters, event administrators have access to event editing and read access to the tenant settings in the backstage.

Role Event User administrator


Event user administrators have, in addition to the stage functions as presenters, access to user editing and read access to the tenant and event settings in the backstage.

Role No Access


The No Access role only has access to the events in the stage to which he/she is authorized.
