What does this article say?

This article describes and explains what a content page is in STREAMBOXY and what configurations can be made.

What is a content page?

A content page is one of the four session types in STREAMBOXY.

The session types are Livestream, Conference and Content Page.

Depending on the selection of the session type, there are different setting options.

You can find an overview of the session types here.

Detailed information on the specific session types can be found here.

A content page can either be a website that is embedded with the corresponding link or URL placeholder or an image that is embedded using the image editor.

There are no limits to your wishes here, you can insert any image (maximum file size 8MB!) and website via an embedded link.

Applications of a content page

A content page is suitable in the following cases, for example.

Please note that the following key points are only a selection of many possible applications.

  • Announcement of speakers on a page before the session starts
  • Integration of any website into STREAMBOXY
  • Inclusion of session posters before, during and after the event
  • Background information about a session
  • etc.

How do I configure a content page?

You can configure a content page either as a session type for the main session (lobby) or as a session type for a breakout room (agenda item).

Detailed information about the main session settings can be found here.

Detailed information on the agenda and its sessions can be found here.

In both cases, you must select "Content page" for the "Session type" item in the backstage settings.

After selecting the session type "content page", further setting options appear for the corresponding session type (here for "content page").

The next step is to decide whether you want to include a website or an image as your content page.

Embed website

Insert your desired link in this field. The website can then be used normally in the stage (only embedded in STREAMBOXY).

Please note that you can also use dynamic placeholders such as {{sessionTitle}} in the links, these will be replaced when called up.

Attention, set the token only for applications you trust and extend the privacy policy of your end users if necessary. For more details, see the help article.

This will take you to the image editor, where you can upload, crop and edit the corresponding image.
